Influenster: Spring Fever Vox Box Review

Hi everyone! I've been super busy these past few weeks so I'm little late in posting this review.

This is my first ever Influenster VoxBox and the one I was lucky to receive was the "Spring Fever" edition. I first heard about Influenster sometime last year from a youtube beauty guru (don't remember who) and thought it was something worth looking into. For those of you who have never heard about Influenster, they basically send you these themed boxes filled with 4 to 5 full sized or deluxe sized products to sample for FREE and in return you review the products and share them across your social media network.

Ok, so on to the good stuff...

Shwarzkopf OSiS Gelastic Hair Gel
an ultra strong flex gel that provides all day definition and control and dries with a firm finish. (Value: $18.00USD)

I'm a hair product junkie so I  most pleased with this, especially since it was the most expensive thing in the box and FREE!! It's a great product though. The gel is really thick and a little really does go a long way. The hold and slick power of this gel is pretty intense and I've been testing it out for a few days now and I have to say, it's one of the best hair gels I've tried so far.

NYC New York Color Applelicious Glossy Lip Balm (in  Big Apple Red)
delivers color, shine and moisture in one single swipe! The unique apple-shaped core is filled with Shea Butter, Jojoba Oil, Vitamin E, and Avocado Oil to give lips a healthy, irresistible look. (Value: $2.99USD)

I love love love this lip balm! Here again, I'm also a lip balm junkie so oh yeah! I was excited to see this little guy in the box!

What I like about this balm is that it adds a sheer rosey tint to your lips that looks very natural so now when I put on my makeup, instead of putting on a gloss or lipstick, I just slap this on and I'm good to go! It's also smooth and moisturizing and I have to say this stuff lasted all day on my lips! SO yeah! It's a keeper in my books! Oh, and the one thing I didn't really like was the smell and I guess that's because I personally don't go for "apple" scented things, but it's really mild and it's actually not that bad after all. I think it's growing on me ;).

Broadway Nails imPRESS Press-on Manicure
features advanced nail technology, so you can get a salon-perfect manicure in seconds – simply peel off, press on, and you're done. There's no drying, a killer shine and a manicure that lasts up to a week! (Value: $5.99-$7.99USD)

I wasn't too "imPRESSed" by these. First of all, I don't think I would have chosen these colors. I would've more liked a neutral or single color such as pink or red. I'm just not a fan of too much patterns and especially not on all nails. I did try these on today and well, as much as I tried not to get my hands wet, these hardly lasted me a few hours. And they really look like press on nails. I dunno, it's just not my thing. I wouldn't buy these, maybe for my daughter if they had the nails in smaller sizes.

The next two things I got were a Secret Outlast clear gel deodorant and a Smores TastyKake Kandy Bar Kake. Which was delicious but too crummy and messy so not sure if I'll be picking up another one of these.

In a nutshell:
It was a great box! I love the NYC Applicious lip balm and I think the Shwarzkopf OSiS Gelastic Hair Gel is a new favorite, it keeps my fly-aways at bay. Two thumbs up!!

Disclosure:
I received these products complimentary for testing purposes from Influenster.
